The Industry Data Management (IDM) holds a portfolio of Business Intelligence solutions for the travel industry, including Direct Data Solutions (DDS), Ticket Tax Box Service (TTBS), Airline Cost Management Group (ACMG) and Mileage data and publications. These are key services supporting revenue accounting, pricing, corporate planning, network planning, all essential airline commercial activities; main clients include airlines, airports, global distribution systems and IT providers.
Services within the IDM portfolio have expanded considerably in the last few years. Cost efficiencies continue to drive airline strategies, and IATA has been at the front on cost benchmarking for the industry. Airlines need robust data solutions and increased automation. Reporting to the Head industry Data Management, the Manager Airline Cost Data will be responsible for the ACMG program activities, including airline engagement, data collection, reporting and airline working group; with a strong focus on data quality and compliance.
Management of ACMG airline participation activities: data collection, analysis, and dissemination of benchmark data in accordance with ACMG data policies and quality standards.
Responsible for ACMG BI Tool: lead product development and relationship with vendor(s), partner(s) and stakeholders;
Leads ACMG airline engagement to achieve increased global coverage to established industry targets. Monitors ACMG program performance for internal and external communications;
Acts as IATA Secretariat of the ACMG Steering Committee: Coordination of regular meetings and communications, action items, and promotes fluid communications among the ACMG airline community;
Business owner of the annual Airline Cost Conference (ACC) event: manages event communications, content and speakers, responsible for marketing activities to achieve commercial targets;
Participates in the development of the extended ACMG strategy, and leads the design of technical specifications for new cost data modules.
Qualifications and Skills
University degree in finance, business administration, engineering or information technology;
Advanced MS Office Skills, with knowledge of database administration. SQL knowledge and macro programming preferred.
Outstanding communication and networking skills, experience leading multicultural teams within your organization. Written and oral proficiency in English is a must;
Able to travel and capable to work in an international environment.
