Job Description

OVERVIEW

The purpose of the Data Analyst is to understand current and future analytics requirement for PPMD (Product Portfolio Management and Deployment), and the impact on the existing reporting system supported by the IT team. This role is also responsible to map the various data sources for comprehensive reports, build mock-up or MVP for other groups in PPMD and maintain dashboard under Product Deployment Support group responsibility. This role will liaise with cross-functional streams inside PMI (S&I, IT, Operation Excellence)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support and manage reporting dashboard belonging to PLM System support team such as KPI for Process adherence
  • Understand and support data extraction strategy with a specific short term focus on RRP products and PLM processes
  • Analyze and propose a reporting roadmap for PPMD System support team in collaboration with the other functions of the Deployment team,
  • Lead the group of Reporting Power users available in the region to increase regional autonomy and knowledge sharing
  • Support PPMD OC function having limited analytics resource for the development of report
  • Identify improvements for our existing IT reporting infrastructure in collaboration with IT
  • Consult cross functional team, data scientist, product team, information System to derive value for existing data and contribute to the development of improved data collection and visualization tools
  • Investigate new analytics capabilities like big data or Data lake solutions

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor or Master in Business, Information Systems or relevant Information Technology degree
  • Good technical IS system knowledge spanning application delivery and support (DevOps) and third party supplier management
  • Experience with the following: Tableau, Oracle OPLA, SQL scripting, Excel Macro
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in designing and developing data modelling, data visualization or analytics using technologies such as Tableau or Oracle OPLA
  • Fluent English
