Specialist for Full-Stack Development in AI & Digitalization Projects 80 - 100%

Start date: February 1, 2026 or by agreement

The IT Development department supports the chairs and administration of the Faculty of Law in the planning and implementation of IT projects. It provides customized tools, defines processes for smooth operations, and monitors compliance with technical standards. It implements existing and new solutions using state-of-the-art technology and is responsible for the ongoing development of modern, electronically supported teaching and digitized administrative processes.

Tasks

  • Design and implementation of AI-supported automation solutions for administrative processes
  • Further development and optimization of existing AI tools, especially RAG pipelines and LLM-based applications
  • Evaluation, fine-tuning and adaptation of open-weight language models (including LoRA techniques) for faculty-specific use cases
  • Systematic needs analysis in cooperation with university departments and administrative units
  • Support and management of digitization projects from the concept phase to productive use

Profile

  • Completed training in the field of computer science or comparable professional experience
  • Advanced knowledge in the field of machine learning, practical experience in the use of language models, especially regarding integration into software solutions.
  • Experience in independently managing projects – from planning to implementation
  • Proactive, solution-oriented work style with a high degree of self-organization
  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with administrative staff and the academy
