As an Expert Data Analyst & Engineer, you will play a key role in building and developing our data platforms, analytical models, and insights landscape – directly contributing to the advancement of our market strategy and customer experiences.

Exciting tasks

  • Execution of database queries, data modeling, data analysis and data visualization
  • Development, optimization and automation of scalable data pipelines and analytical workflows
  • Preparation and visualization of analysis results as well as communication of areas of action, recommendations and measures to internal stakeholders
  • Conception and development of advanced analytics and machine learning models for predicting customer behavior, churn, potential and efficiency improvements.
  • Close collaboration with business stakeholders, IT and data scientists to define data-driven strategies and decision-making principles.
  • Development and maintenance of dashboards, KPIs and analytical frameworks for management, executive management and specialist departments.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines regarding data access, use, and sharing.
  • Coaching and professional support for the team, as well as building up know-how regarding modern technologies and best practices.

This is what you bring with you

  • University degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Informatics, Computer Science or a related field
  • Several years of experience in complex data engineering and analytics projects (ideally in a regulated environment or large company)
  • You are proficient and experienced in programming languages ​​such as Python/Pyspark and SQL – experience with Azure Synapse and Databricks is ideal.
  • Confident in the use of BI tools such as Power BI and skilled in data modeling, performance tuning and automation.
  • Several years of experience in building data architectures, data pipelines and governance structures
  • Knowledge of applied statistics, predictive analytics and machine learning
  • High consulting expertise, strategic thinking and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Fluent German skills (native speaker level) and business-level English skills
