Data Scientist AI/GenAI (w/m/d)

In the Strategy, Risk & Analytics division of Zürcher Kantonalbank, we support the IT, Operations & Real Estate business unit in the areas of strategy, finance, IT provider, and IT risk management. As Business Portfolio Managers, we drive the implementation of the strategy across various implementation platforms (ART). We are also responsible for the bank's AI strategy and ensure its effective implementation.

 

• Development and design of GenAI solutions: Design and implement GenAI solutions (including RAG and AI agents) in close collaboration with data engineers and domain experts. The goal is to understand the intricacies of the data and the business context to ensure that the developed models and solutions are specifically aligned with the relevant business challenges.
• Requirements definition and success measurement: Close collaboration with stakeholders to clearly define requirements and develop measurable key performance indicators (KPIs) for the business case.
• Prototyping and Integration: Focus on prototype development. Collaboration with ML and cloud engineers, as well as full-stack developers, to seamlessly integrate GenAI solutions into the existing GenAI platform. LLMOps tools are configured to evaluate and optimize model performance, while safeguards are implemented for compliance and responsible AI practices.
• Model training and optimization: Selecting, training, and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) on banking data to meet specific industry requirements. Using techniques such as prompt engineering, RAG, and knowledge distillation to continuously improve model performance and accuracy.

• Professional experience as a data scientist, GenAI engineer, in the areas of AI, ML or data-driven products as well as in the conception and support of the implementation of AI applications
• Knowledge and experience with Azure Cloud, LLM, OpenAI and ML-OPS
• An agile mindset and an innovative way of working according to SAFe/Scrum are a given for you
