Garda's primary offices are located in Wayzata, New York City, West Palm Beach, Geneva, Zug, Copenhagen, Singapore, and Scottsdale.

Garda is looking to hire a Data Engineer Intern to join the Inflation team in Geneva, focused on model building and maintenance. The candidate will support the investment team, help implement solutions for trading and risk systems, and in the course of the role be exposed to the analytics used in trading while working closely with the Inflation and IT teams for guidance and feedback.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of data-driven models and pipelines to complement investment decisions.
  • Support the team's research and production process, including data collection and analysis, prototyping, back-testing, deployment, and performance monitoring.
  • Maintain and evolve production models and data pipelines over the duration of the role.

Qualifications & Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science, statistics, financial engineering, or similar quantitative or technical discipline.
  • Exceptional quantitative & programming skills (Python & SQL).
  • Knowledge and interest in financial markets.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Intellectual curiosity and motivation to innovate and improve.
