Our first solution monitors the temperature of medical shipments on a parcel level to help our customers in the pharma industry be compliant with GDP regulations in the EU. We are currently looking to grow our team to include a Data Scientist.

By applying your proven, analytical problem-solving skills and your experience in state-of-the-art simulation, signal processing, and machine learning tools to real-world data analytics and predictive analytics problems, you will be closely involved in the research and development activities of our team.

You will assume a leading role in your technology road mapping and work closely with your product and management team in developing, demonstrating, and industrializing predictive analytics product concepts, while helping to build up our data science team.

To achieve this, you will be responsible for identifying and designing practical and competitive solutions that solve our customer’s problems and add value to other product lines

  • Ownership over the road map for the predictive analytics tool suite and architecture of our solutions.
  • Design predictive data-analytics solutions and lead problem analytics by owning requirements and experiments and delivering working demonstrators.
  • Compile requirements through involvement in customer projects.
  • Propose solutions to our product team and contribute to our product roadmap by consulting other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the product development of selected solutions.
  • Ownership over the technical feasibility of your solutions, supporting risk assessment and compliance processes.
  • Identify and manage issues and risks and drive decision making and escalations.
  • Manage relationships with all relevant stakeholders.


  • Higher degree in computer science, engineering, or similar (ETH/FH).
  • 3+ years of experience in applying state of the art tools in statistical machine learning, signal processing, recursive filtering and simulation to real-world problems.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development with a proven track record of utilizing programming languages such as Matlab, Python, C++, SQL, etc.
  • Experience in assembling and processing large data sets from disparate sources and analyze using appropriate quantitative methodologies, computational frameworks and systems.
  • Ability to rapidly architect, prototype solutions and optimize them for production in a later stage.
  • Ability to understand business needs, articulate trade-offs and debate solutions with both business and engineering teams.
  • Aspiration to take on a leading role in a smaller team.
  • Proactive, focused, reliable team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, efficient work-style with good prioritization and multi-tasking.
  • Strong sense of accountability and willingness to take decisions and assume responsibility.
