Our Networks business unit is responsible for building and operating distribution networks to deliver electrical energy to our customers.
In order to complete the Development and Strategic Support team in Morges , active in technological monitoring and the implementation of strategic projects in the fields of digital, economics and network technology, we are looking for a
Profile
- Master's or PhD from EPF, HES, HEC in the field of data science, computer science, energy or mathematics (or other qualification deemed equivalent).
- Several years of experience as a Data Analyst.
- Experience in designing and developing indicators and dashboards, as well as with data visualization tools.
- Good understanding of the world of energy and its challenges.
- Excellent knowledge of the main machine learning and neural network models.
- Experience with the use and deployment of Large Language Models (LLM).
- Excellent skills in Python (including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow libraries).
- Knowledge of SQL language, as well as data modeling (data vault, dimensional modeling).
- Experience with Azure ML a plus.
- Experience in MLOps and DevOps (including use of Git).
- Experience in technologies required to implement APIs.
- Sensitivity to energy business needs, business value oriented.
- Native French or German speaker with good knowledge of the other language and fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced data analytics to improve the operation and management of electricity networks.
- Design and implement dashboards and performance indicators, enabling data-driven management of the unit, ensuring data consistency and relevance.
- Support project teams by handling aspects related to data analysis and proposing suitable solutions, focused on data exploitation.
- Contribute to initiatives in collaboration with internal and external partners (such as other distributors, academic institutions, etc.) ensuring the availability, reliability and updating of technical data in coordination with the relevant departments (IT, data management, statistics).
- Participate in the design and implementation of processes and tools intended to collect, process and enhance internal and external data, using modern processing technologies, in particular distributed computing, in conjunction with the group's digital unit.
- Develop and maintain the catalog of synthetic data products required for the digital transformation of electrical networks.
