Senior Requirement und Software Engineer (a)

Full time Data Engineering Business Intelligence Software Engineering Data Warehouse

Job Description

Workload: 80 – 100%
Start: immediately or by arrangement

Switzerland is building on and with us. Because almost everywhere beautiful things are being built, our software ensures smooth processes in the background. Over 150 customers use our PROVIS software for construction project management.

Let's assume you're an expert at implementing SQL solutions. At the same time, you have a burning passion for understanding our customers' processes and skillfully visualizing them. And you manage to guide and train customers with your technical expertise. It's clear to us: Choosing between the two is difficult – but fortunately, it's not necessary. Because we've simply merged both roles. Would you like to get started with us in Kemptthal's "Silicon Valley"?

YOUR FUTURE TASKS

  • You will work on orders and projects for our PROVIS software. Your mission: quite clear: to understand the customer and lead the software to success. And all of this, of course, with a keen eye for project management – you'll always keep time, budget, and resources under control.
  • As a requirements engineer, you know how to listen carefully, analyze, and precisely document everything our customers want. You're essentially the requirements wizard who transforms requests into clear, understandable documents.
  • But that's not all – you're also a software engineer at heart! Your tasks range from implementing interfaces to developing your own customer-specific tools. These are based on MS SQL-based stored procedures – not just for new projects, but also to keep our existing customers happy.
  • For you, teamwork is not an empty word, because with your specialist expertise you support your friends in requirement and software engineering as well as in project management and customer consulting.
  • You will ensure that our customers can optimally map their processes in PROVIS and provide second-level support should a process not work as desired.

YOUR SKILLS AND STRENGTHS:

  • You're essentially a requirements and software engineer rolled into one. Therefore, you should—or, more frankly, must—have experience in capturing customer requirements and programming SQL stored procedures in MS SQL.
  • You understand connections quickly, you enjoy learning new things and you are ambitious when it comes to understanding your customers' business and showing them good solutions.
  • What exactly your training certificates say isn't the most important thing. You probably have a solid IT education or a degree in (business) informatics, because a proven track record in development with a focus on SQL is an absolute must for us.
  • If you're very interested in the topic of business software or have perhaps even dealt with it before, all the better. And you should be able to persuade people well and generally have a good presence.
  • Your colleagues are looking forward to welcoming a friendly, easygoing person who likes to laugh, even at themselves. And yes, there's a lot of work waiting for you. "Gring ache u seckle" (laughing and laughing) shouldn't be unfamiliar to you. It's worth it, I promise.

OUR PROMISE

  • A rewarding and incredibly exciting job, one we'll give you a thorough introduction to here in the Valley. And once you're comfortable, there are excellent development opportunities in a growing team.
  • We're a little embarrassed to boast about what's probably the best team spirit around. So we'll simply quote a five-star review from Kununu: "Team spirit is a top priority." True!
  • From zero to 100 in 18… no, not seconds, years. We grew quickly, but healthily and well organized.
  • Lean structures and super-simple decision-making processes.
  • We are one of the larger players in our field and are known for our high quality.
  • A good salary that you can help determine based on your performance. Sickness benefits and accident insurance? We'll cover it. Combined with other benefits, that easily adds up to a few thousand euros a year.

Already excited? Want to get started sooner rather than later? Then send us your CV or a link to your LinkedIn profile. You can skip the cover letter; we're totally hassle-free with that, too. hr@axept.ch

And the (a) in the job title? It's our statement for diversity. We embrace diverse teams. Age, origin, skin color, or gender are irrelevant to us. We welcome everyone who can help us advance with their talent.
