Together with a dedicated team, you will be the central point of contact for machine learning projects across Sanitas. You are fascinated by the possibilities of using data in practice and feel responsible for ensuring that this creates real benefits for customers. Through your broad experience and active participation in the implementation of value-creating practical applications, you will successfully manage projects together with competent IT and specialist partners – end-to-end, from conception and integration to professional production.

  • Development of machine learning models, conducting quantitative analyses, and creating the necessary foundations together with the data engineering team
  • Management and support of data science projects for various departments
  • Ensuring the operationalization, comprehensive integration, success measurement & further development of machine learning models (MLOps)
  • Identification and proactive advancement of new use cases, evaluation and testing of new technologies such as GenAI and further development of the overarching data science strategy
  • Active stakeholder management as well as visualization and communication of results within the team, to stakeholders and management

Why you succeed:

  • In addition to a university degree with a scientific or technical focus, you also have several years of professional experience in the field of data science and are proficient in Python and SQL
  • You have good knowledge of classical and modern machine learning algorithms (e.g. gradient boosting and transformer models), can also use these methods optimally, are very familiar with the common cloud platforms (GCP is a plus) and already have experience with data pipelines and MLOps
  • Your experience in projects in an agile environment as well as your strong communication skills allow you to manage data science projects in interdisciplinary teams in a prudent and pragmatic manner
  • You feel personally responsible for our data applications and their added value and ensure close coordination with stakeholders, professional implementation according to the latest standards and meaningful integration into our IT landscape
  • You communicate fluently in German, both verbally and in writing; any additional language is a plus
