Your typical day

  • Together with development and electronics testing, you will design and implement modern test systems for electronic measuring devices.
  • As a Software Engineer, you are responsible for the end-of-line testing software and work closely with hardware and firmware development
  • You will specify test cases together with the developers and implement them using Python on your own responsibility.
  • As a software engineer, you support the developers with your technical know-how in the creation of test concepts.
  • The introduction of the developed test suites into series production is also your responsibility.
  • In support cases, the electronics test provides support.

Your profile

  • An apprenticeship as an electronics technician supplemented by further training as an electrical engineer HF or a BSc degree in electrical engineering with a focus on software engineering form your professional basis.
  • Safe handling of measuring devices and systems is a given for you.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of electronics (hardware and software), sensor technology, microsystem technology and connection technology.
  • You are confident in your command of the Python programming language.
  • In addition, you have basic knowledge of SQL, REST API and Git.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills enable you to communicate smoothly in an international environment.
  • Personally, you are characterized by initiative, conscientiousness, team spirit and clear, open communication.
