Tasks

  • You develop and optimize complex data pipelines on Azure.
  • You perform data queries from various applications.
  • You structure and cleanse data sets for business insights, reporting and ML/AI.
  • You will work closely with data scientists, analysts and engineers on data-based applications and models.
  • You automate processes with scripts and tools in Databricks and Azure.
  • You fix errors and optimize the performance of pipelines and workflows.
  • You coordinate data transfers and usage with stakeholders.
  • You support the deployment and maintenance of ML/AI models.

Profile

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science or a related field.
  • You have experience in cloud data engineering and in the implementation of ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • You are well-versed in SQL, Python, and Spark (QlikSense knowledge is an advantage).
  • You have experience with Azure Data Services (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks).
  • You have a good understanding of MLOps and ML/AI.
  • You are characterized by strong problem-solving skills and good communication skills in German and English.
