Software-Engineer in Measurement Systems and Electronics

• Planning, development, testing, maintenance, and servicing of software applications in the field of measurement systems within the Research and Technology department
• Concept creation, definition of requirements and specifications and project planning for new measurement systems or expansion of existing software components
• Propose and promote improvements and innovations for software and measurement systems
• Maintain and update source code management and build automation
• Administration of licensing for software applications
• Support high quality and on-time delivery of measurement system to the customers regarding software and hardware installation

• Degree in software engineering or similar (TS,HF,FH,Uni)
• Preferably 2 years of experience
• Profound knowledge in programming (NetBeans, Java, C/C++, Visual Studio, Python, Matlab), build automation (Maven/Ant), debugging, software testing, source code management (Azure DevOps, Git)
• Good knowledge in measurement systems and data acquisition, preferably experience with National Instruments PXI systems (NI DAQmx , LabWindows/CVI)
• Good knowledge in electronics and sensor technology
• Good knowledge in applied physics and mathematics
• General interest in physical testing and carrying out measurements
• Good team player, self-motivated, problem solver, hands-on mentality
• Good oral and written communication skills in German and English, any other language is an advantage
