We are looking for an experienced software engineer to support the team in the realization of simulations of our automation and robotics solutions. You will be in contact with internal and external stakeholders (customers) and analyze the system solution in order to implement a targeted simulation solution. Your contribution

  • Development of simulation concepts for automation and robotics solutions
  • New and further development of Güdel simulation software solutions in the .Net stack (C# / WPF)
  • Realization of simulations on various 3D CAD platforms
  • Conducting analyses based on the system data of automation and robotics solutions
  • Performance optimizations based on determined system data
  • Consulting regarding simulation solutions for customers
  • Conducting training/demonstrations of simulation solutions for/at customers
  • Perception of customer support regarding simulation questions from internal/external stakeholders
  • Business support for initial requests for new simulation solutions

Your skills and talents

  • Education/further training in electrical engineering or computer science or a similar educational path at FH, ETH or university level
  • Experience with the implementation of algorithms, ideally in the context of kinematics
  • Affinity to analysis in order to be able to use the insights gained for performance optimization
  • Implementation experience of 3D CAD simulations desirable
  • Software engineering experience, especially in the .Net stack
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills as well as a solution-oriented approach
  • Communicative, innovative and profitable personality who always sees the result as a team effort
  • Enjoyment of a responsible job in a flexible and dynamic environment
  • Good written and spoken English skills, knowledge of German is an advantage
