Place of work: Zurich region & remote work (part-time from 80%)

As an analyst and engineer in the Service Operations area, you are jointly responsible for everything related to analytics. Your focus is on further developing our reporting landscape towards a future-oriented, cloud-based architecture and ensuring fast, precise and meaningful data for our management level.

YOUR TASKS

  • You create and maintain regular reports for management and the Service Operations Team.
  • You will work on the further development of our cloud-based reporting framework and, together with other analysts, data engineers and IT data architects, define the data model (Business Object Model - BOM) and best practices for Synapse Pipelines and Azure Data Lake.
  • You talk to those responsible in Service Operations about new reporting and analysis requirements and implement the cloud ETL pipelines and the user interface in Power BI.
  • You develop new analyses that help us to better understand and further develop the business.
  • You support software development projects and ensure that analytics aspects are taken into account when defining requirements and subsequent implementation.
  • You will work in a small, dynamic team that works closely together on various cross-company topics and thus constantly masters new challenges.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a university or technical college degree, ideally in data science, business informatics, computer science or similar.
  • You already have experience in a similar position and have strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • You have experience with the Microsoft Azure Cloud, especially with the Data Lake, Synapse, cloud databases as well as Python, SQL, MS Power BI, MS SQL Server and SSMS.
  • You can present complex analyses and report results in an understandable way and thus provide stakeholders with clear insights.
  • You are skilled in documenting requirements, solutions, code and technical artifacts.
  • You enjoy working in a team, value the exchange with colleagues from different areas and strive to continuously develop your skills and learn new technologies.
  • You have good written and spoken German and English skills.
