Job Description

The role
  • Development, modeling, integration, testing and support in requirements gathering and documentation of solutions in an agile environment in cooperation with all departments involved (business & IT)
  • Application responsibility and, if necessary, subject matter expert for the solution as well as lifecycle support (including 3rd level support) including further development regarding performance and maintainability of existing applications
  • Advising the product owner in the agile pod and assisting in the creation and evaluation of solution approaches
  • Conducting code peer reviews and coordinating content across pod projects

Our team

The API & Workflow Engineering chapter is part of the IT Client Solutions department. As pod members within the Client Solutions crew, our developers use their skills in a customer- and results-oriented manner to design, support and further develop modern and scalable products within the specified framework of quality, compliance and security requirements (PCI DSS).
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Java software engineer (f/m/d) with a lot of practical experience in the integration and further development of standard software for our workflow engine in the area of ​​risk and compliance.

This is what we want

  • University degree in (business) informatics or comparable training
  • Good practical experience in object-oriented programming (at least 5 years), as well as a solid basic understanding of modern programming paradigms
  • Good knowledge of API, including REST and SOAP, and advantageously also in Kafka
  • Basic understanding of Linux (e.g. file system, configurations, basic commands, authorization concepts)
  • Basic understanding of security topics, especially in dealing with certificates, mTLS, as well as authentication and authorization concepts
  • Experience with configuring and handling JBoss or similar containers
  • Basic understanding of databases, especially SQL and Oracle databases
  • High sense of quality and responsibility, independent and structured working methods and a growth mindset
  • Good language skills in German and English (spoken and written)
