Job Description
As a "data and software engineer" you are responsible for the development, maintenance, provision and optimization of systems for processing and managing data.
Our team is working on the development of the KOWIN product, the contract and insured person management system for collective contracts (pension fund).
The challenge of combining political decisions such as the BVG reform, regulatory requirements of FINMA, the needs of foundations and financial goals in one product makes this team and the KOWIN product unique.
In order to continue to be able to offer our internal and external customers suitable and high-quality solutions, we are looking for motivated data and software engineers like you.
your contribution
- You develop and transform our contract and insured management system in an agile team
- You simplify and modularize our data model
- You will further optimize our DevOps, e.g. by scaling our batch jobs and automating/simplifying our software deployments/releases
- You support the migration from mainframe to cloud
- You are motivated to make your contribution on the mainframe and on more modern platforms and to develop yourself further in these areas
Your skills and talents
- Several years of professional experience
- Solid understanding of technology with a degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable
- Experiences with sustainable evolutionary implementation in multi-year initiatives
- Experience with databases, e.g. with data models and data flows (batch processing, ETL)
- Teamwork and good communication skills to work with different teams
- Very good knowledge of German and English
