At Inventx, you will help shape the digital transformation in the finance and insurance industry. At the interface between IT and banking/insurance, you will work with us to ensure that our customers can rely on their IT infrastructures around the clock and are empowered to innovate digitally.

We are looking for a motivated software engineer (m/f/d) to complement our data science team. Your main focus is on the (further) development and optimization as well as the operation of our fraud detection solution. You will work closely with our business analysts, data scientists and architects in a team to integrate innovative ideas and concepts into our solution. In addition to implementing projects in the area of ​​fraud detection, you will also work on exciting tasks in the wider field of data analytics and data science. What is your creative space?

• You will further develop the FraudDetection service for classic payment transactions and instant payments.
• You optimize our FraudDetection service based on new fraud patterns.
• You design and lead technical projects to migrate or use new technologies, including AI.
• You implement technical requirements for new customer projects.
• You will work closely with Inventx's Cyber ​​Resilience Center and take on deputy tasks on the Splunk platform.
• You analyze internal procedures and processes in order to realize optimization and automation potential through AI.
• You work closely with stakeholders from business and IT.

What do you bring with you?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or comparable field of study
• Professional experience in the financial industry, in consulting or comparable fields of activity in other industries
• Enthusiasm for working with data sets and experience with Java/Kotlin
• Solid understanding of design patterns as well as Spring Boot/Jakarta and Splunk experience is an advantage
• Familiar with the collaboration and coordination of an agile team (Scrum, Kanban, Jira)
• Good knowledge of data science technologies, concepts, tools and languages ​​(ML Operations, Cloud Services, Event Streaming, Python)
• Fluent in German
