Data Engineering & Analytics Intern (m/f) - 6 months - Geneva

Under the supervision of our Data and Analytics Engineer, your role will consist of supporting the Data skills center by collaborating closely with multidisciplinary internal teams (IT, sales, finance, marketing, production, laboratory, quality) and ensuring a quality interface with our external partners specialized in data processing and analysis.

During this internship, your main missions will be as follows:

• Develop and maintain robust and efficient data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze data from different sources (internal and external).
• Participate in data analysis to identify trends or anomalies, and provide insights to improve decision-making processes
• Collaborate with the Data team to design and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms
• Contribute to the creation and optimization of data warehouses to ensure efficient information management
• Ensure data quality by performing regular checks and implementing continuous improvement procedures
• Participate in data visualization by developing interactive dashboards for different business teams
• Document technical processes and workflows to ensure traceability and facilitate knowledge transfer

To carry out this mission, we are looking for a person with the following profile:

• Approved student (intra-curricular compulsory), in the final year of an engineering school in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar field
• Interest in data management and analysis in the field of biotechnology
• Good knowledge of data management and analysis tools (SQL, Python, R) and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
• Having knowledge of machine learning concepts and associated tools (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow) is a plus
• Native French speaker (or equivalent level) with good knowledge of English
