Job Description

The Insel Data Science Center is a cross-directorate facility of the Insel Group that bundles all data analysis tasks. Its main tasks include the development and operation of the Insel data platform and the applications based on it. For the further development and operation of these IDSC applications within the IDSC, we are looking for you as a Senior DevOps System Engineer.

What awaits you

  • You will be responsible for the maintenance of our applications that obtain data from our data platform
  • Defining and further developing the corresponding system architectures together with the Operations department
  • support of our software developers
  • Close cooperation with the specialist departments and infrastructure teams

What you bring with you

  • University or technical college education in the fields of computer science, business informatics or equivalent training
  • at least 5 years of experience in the IT infrastructure environment
  • Enjoyment of data and applications
  • Experience as a system engineer in the Linux and Windows environment
  • Experience in the installation and technical support of WEB applications
  • Experience in connecting applications to databases
  • Project Manager Skills
  • Open, understandable and situation-appropriate communication
  • High motivation, enthusiasm and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Good oral and written German skills as well as good English skills
  • Advantageous experience in the areas of DWH, data lakes, knowledge of FHIR, DICOM
