OpenShift DevOps Engineer

Mission:

The DevOps engineer joins a dynamic team under the direction of a technical architect. He works closely with other DevOps engineers, technical architects, developers and customer engineers to set up and operate the processes of environment construction, development, deployment and operation of the organization's applications and services. His role is focused on automating tasks, improving operational efficiency and ensuring the reliability, performance and security of systems.

Your role:

• Design and development
  • design and develop scripts and tools to automate
    development, testing and deployment processes in collaboration with the team;
  • set up and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with
    the team.
• Infrastructure management:
  • configure and manage infrastructures (Linux VM, Windows VM, OpenShift) in coordination with
    the DevOps team;
  • ensure the operation of applications, server configuration, middleware and
    Perl & Java execution environment;
  • monitor and optimize infrastructure and application performance;
  • participate with architects in projects to develop and manage the obsolescence of
    technical infrastructure.
• Safety and compliance:
  • collaborate with the CISO team to implement security practices to protect
    data and systems;
  • ensure compliance with current standards and regulations.
• Collaboration et support :
  • collaborate with development teams to resolve build, deployment
    and performance issues;
  • provide technical support and solutions to incidents and operational problems.
• Monitoring and maintenance:
  • maintain and evolve monitoring tools to ensure
    application availability and performance;
  • ensure maintenance and updates of systems and infrastructures.
• Documentation and knowledge sharing:
  • document the processes, configurations and solutions implemented;
  • share knowledge and best practices with team members.
• Continuous improvement:
  • identify and implement improvements to existing processes and systems.

Your profile:

• University or higher professional diploma in information systems
• Proven experience of at least 5 years as a DevOps engineer or in a similar role;
• Proven experience in administration and/or operation of Linux systems ;
• Proficiency in configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet ;
• Experience in managing complex applications in an OpenShift environment (or
  Kubernetes on-premise);
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins ;
• Good understanding of security practices and network concepts;
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills;
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams;
• Scripting and programming skills (Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby, etc.);
• Good level of expression in French.
