Your task

We strive to maximize efficiency and enable informed, data-driven decisions through the use of automation and business intelligence (BI) - for our customers in various industries and for ourselves. In order to drive our growth, we are looking for an experienced, innovative and strategically thinking manager to take responsibility for our Automation & Business Intelligence division consisting of 9 employees. The main tasks include the following:

• You assume overall responsibility for the Automation & Business Intelligence area, including profit and loss responsibility
• You develop a clear go-to-market strategy to further expand the area as a profitable business area
• You analyze the market, identify new business opportunities and are responsible for sales and cost planning
• You make strategic decisions that optimally take into account both the company's goals and the needs of our customers
• You build sustainable customer relationships and acquire new customers through your expertise in the field of automation & BI
• You lead projects to introduce new BI and automation solutions
• You ensure the successful implementation, scaling and continuous improvement of automation processes and BI systems

• You lead and motivate a highly qualified team of specialists in the areas of BI and automation
• You promote a culture of continuous training and self-development and ensure that your team is always familiar with the latest technologies and methods
• You ensure that your team works together excellently in both operational and strategic areas and continuously develops

Your profile

• You not only bring technological expertise, but also a strong strategic mindset. In addition, you are characterized by the following skills:

• You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics or a comparable field and have many years of experience in a similar role
• You have in-depth knowledge of BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and automation technologies (RPA, workflow automation, AI-based solutions)
• You have experience in profit and loss responsibility and know how to realize sales potential through a clear market strategy and technological innovation
• You have experience in business development and in acquiring new customers – ideally through your technical know-how and your ability to present complex solutions in an understandable way
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and know how to drive both business and technological innovation with strategic vision
• You can communicate complex technical topics simply and convincingly, both internally and to customers and partners
• You are an inspiring leader and have experience in leading and developing interdisciplinary teams that cover different specialist areas such as BI, IT and automation
• You understand how to develop a clear vision and motivate your team to achieve this vision through your passion and strategic focus
• Place of work: Basel (advantageous) plus Bern and Zurich
