- Analysis and clarification of technical requirements in direct contact with business partners
- Technical modelling of data structures including further development of the logical data model and creation of the corresponding documentation
- Implementation of the requirements in compliance with all architectural, operational and procedural standards
- Development and implementation of solutions for the continuous improvement of applications in terms of performance and standardization
- Ensuring daily processing and deployments
- Proactive monitoring, troubleshooting and optimization of data flows
- End-to-end responsibility for the entire processing chain in our data warehouse (DWH), from data acquisition to integration and data provision
- Continuous collaboration with business partners to ensure data quality and availability
Our team
For our Center of Excellence Data Analytics, we are looking for an Experienced Data Warehouse Engineer with solid knowledge of DWH modeling and development. In this position, you will assume end-to-end responsibility for the technical and content aspects of our data warehouse solution.
This is what we want
- Academic education in (business) informatics, mathematics or a related subject
- Practical experience in data warehouse modeling and development, ideally in finance
- Good knowledge of data modeling and management as well as relevant tools, preferably Data Vault 2.0
- Knowledge of data exploration with CDC or streaming solutions, experience with Oracle GoldenGate and Kafka is an advantage
- Substantial knowledge of SQL in the context of relational databases, experience with Oracle RDBMS is an advantage
- Familiarity with agile methods and flexibility in dealing with changing requirements
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve technical and professional problems
- Fluent language skills in German and English
