Data Analytics / BI Project Manager

We are opening a Data Analytics / BI Project Manager position to strengthen the team of our client based in Lausanne.

You will take over the management of two projects, one being the implementation of a data platform in the cloud and the other is BI-oriented.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and adjust the planning of both projects with an End-to-End approach for all remaining delivery phases until production launch

• Work closely with Change Management

• Conduct risk management

• Ensure the proper delivery of the program with all teams covering all aspects: Business, Functional, Technical and Non-Functional, Change management, Deployment and Production implementation

• Track project schedules

• Identify and manage interdependencies with other projects in the Program

• Implement and ensure the application of project governance standards according to program standards (project committees, kick-off, reporting, etc.)

• Ensure correct conversion of functional specifications into technical specifications for cross-functional teams

• Allocate roles and tasks across teams, and monitor execution

• Establish and present regular reporting of the different delivery phases in line with the program's delivery key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Centralize and be the point of contact for all aspects of the project

• Review and manage security, compliance and legal aspects of projects

• Identify and remove obstacles and protect the team from external interruptions and distractions

• Establish an environment where the team can be effective

• Ensure team dynamics (diplomacy and conflict resolution)

• Ensure good relationships and collaborations between the team and the Product Owner, as well as with people outside the team

• Identify risks and misalignments between projects: propose mitigation solutions to the program risk manager

• Take into account interactions with other projects and initiatives

• Control changes to the scope of the project

• Escalate supplier management issues to the program manager

• Advanced Diploma in Computer Science (HES, EPF, MAster, etc.)

• Experience in managing large-scale Data Analytics (Business Intelligence) solution implementation programs

• Experience in project management and leadership

• Experience in Scrum Master activities

• Excellent organizational skills

• Excellent communication skills and ability to summarize

• Power of proposal and sense of service

• Knowledge of Atlassian suite tools: JIRA / Confluence / Big Picture / Tempo

• Experience with waterfall and agile methodologies

• Perfect command of French and good level of English
