The IT Data Solution team develops and operates source connections with Azure Data Factory and Terraform as well as data products and data mesh domains on SWICA's central Azure Synapse-based data platform. You are therefore a central contact for data from various source systems, which are made available to our internal partners in a wide variety of forms. If you enjoy complex questions and the analysis, interpretation and processing of large amounts of data with Python, SQL and Spark in a complex environment - then you've come to the right place!

Exciting tasks

• Development, expansion and maintenance of functional and technical components in the area of ​​source connections, data products, interfaces)
• Analysis of technical customer requirements, design and implementation of BI solutions in close cooperation with our business departments (dashboards & reports)
• Design of future-proof data models that can also cope with future applications in the field of machine learning and analytics
• Compliance with legal and technical standards for data quality management and data security
• Securing and automating data product supply chains

This is what you bring with you

• Higher professional education in the field of computer science or computer science-related areas (technical college, university or other training)
• Very good knowledge of SQL and Python (pyspark), especially experience in the application of suitable data analysis patterns
• Experience in development with Microsoft Azure (ADF, Synapse/Spark) & BI stack (SSIS, SSAS (DAX), SSRS and Power BI)
• Good knowledge in the implementation of Data Mesh & Business Intelligence projects within the insurance industry and commissioning in a CI/CD environment (Azure DevOps & Terraform)
• Experience in data integration and master data management is an advantage
• Enjoy working in an agile team (Scrum, Kanban, Jira)
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented team player with a high level of quality awareness and enjoyment in automating development workflows and processes
