Job Description
You will become a member of a dynamic team in the finance department. Short and simple communication channels, thanks to the proximity of the main client, make our everyday life easier. Our small team strives to generate high-quality information and knowledge from the bank's broad data universe. We handle all steps from data acquisition to evaluation. Innovation and the use of modern technologies are important to us and AI is the next step.
Your tasks
- You record and document the orders and create the technical requirements together with the client
- You import data from the source systems and perform data analyses
- You develop procedures in the data warehouse for calculating KPIs and provide reports
- You develop dashboards and document your developments
- You automate recurring tasks, reports or procedures
- You check the data quality and data integrity across all products
- You work on concepts for new products and develop AI models or use AI tools
Requirements
You have a professional or university degree in computer science/business informatics and can already demonstrate several years of professional experience in the data warehouse/BI area of a financial services provider. You are very familiar with Excel and relational databases such as MS SQL Server (or Oracle) and you also have good programming skills (T-SQL). Ideally, you have knowledge of QlikSense (or PowerBI). Experience with Jedox and the Avaloq banking platform is an advantage. Experience with Python and data science tasks is also an advantage for future projects. You are particularly characterized by your analytical and conceptual thinking skills and do your work with a lot of initiative, independently and in a solution-oriented manner. We absolutely require a high level of quality awareness, a great willingness to learn and a high degree of sense of responsibility in this role. Fluent German and good French skills (or vice versa) round off your profile.
