Who we are looking for

As part of our strong growth, we are looking for interested individuals to advise our customers and implement projects in various core areas as Senior Software Engineer Java.
The demanding tasks require a (technical) university degree in computer science, proven professional experience desired, fluent written and spoken German and English, flexibility, commitment and interest in dealing with customers and employees.

What to expect

• Support in the analysis, conception and implementation of complex projects in the area of ​​Java-based servers and web solutions
• Technical lead within Java projects - from solution design to unit testing and component deployment
• Collaboration on technical solution concepts and handling of consulting mandates in the Java environment
• Planning/scoping of operating environments (or HW architectures) in collaboration with our system engineering specialists
• Conception and implementation of Continuous Integration development environments

What you should bring with you

• Excellent experience with modern technologies in Java and/or Kotlin area (Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, RESTful services, JPA, Hibernate, maven, Git, Docker, etc.)
• Solid knowledge of web technologies such as Angular and React is desirable
• Several years of experience in conception, design and implementation of Java or JEE-based solutions
• Profound knowledge in the application of best practices in software development (including UML, process models such as Scrum, Kanban, Test-Driven Development)
• Excellent ability to abstract and good communication skills
• Willingness to travel in the Bern area
