Within the data department, directly reporting to the Chief Data Officer (CDO), the data engineering department's missions are to design, carry out and operate the operational implementation of the company's Data use cases. You will report to the Head of data engineer, integrated into the data engineer team and in contact with the business analysts for the collection of business needs and the data consumer teams, such as data scientists and data analysts.
Your Missions:
Participate in the implementation of business use cases within our GCP (Google Cloud Platform) platform, on which, depending on the scenario, you will be responsible for:
- Management and steering of projects based on GCP technologies within the data engineer team
- From the collection of needs and formalization of specifications in collaboration with Business analysts
- Technical framing: Design and definition of tasks.
- Drafting of technical specifications and associated documentation
- Planning and assigning tasks within the data engineer team (using JIRA)
- Managing data engineer tasks
- Contribute to meeting the team's commitments in terms of planning and quality of deliverables until production.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of the RCI Data platform
- Participate or contribute directly to the technical developments of use cases.
- Ensure RUN monitoring
- Collaboration and support with data science teams (integrated within the Data department)
- Collaboration and support with Data IT teams (integrated within the Data factory)
- Collaboration and support with IT teams
- To design and develop tools and reusable templates for processing data use cases.
You will have to make progress presentations on your work carried out, contribute transversely to project activities and anticipate problems on the evolution of use cases. The activity is divided between project management, technical design and development.

- Ensure the migration of existing use case data as part of the “GCP first”, “Cloud First” business strategy.
- Ensure the management and implementation of use case data on the MFS data platform, in compliance with the design and implementation of data privacy by design functionalities.
- Ensure and optimize the capacity of the data engineer team in its role as “enabler” to allow access to data in the company and the creation of new use cases.

Degree / Experience
- Higher education: Engineering school, or Master's degree specializing in data engineering or equivalent, Big Data option (Data engineer)
- 5 years of experience in development (cloud computing or big data)
- Previous experience as a project manager is a plus
Technical skills
- Cloud computing
- Google cloud platform: BigQuery, Dataproc, airflow, cloud function, GCS …
- Langages : Python, SQL
- Utilities: Git, Jira, confluence, Nifi is a plus
