Job Description

Your mission
  • Design and implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab for various environments, such as Python, Goovy, Node.js, and C++.

  • Support defining and implementing CI/CD pipelines for the software lifecycle.

  • Continuously improve our software development process and infrastructure by implementing best practices, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing and implementing solutions.

  • Develop and maintain tools to automate deployment and monitoring.

  • Work closely with developers to ensure code changes ae properly tested, built, and deployed to production.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and other quality assurance activities.

  • Onboard new developers to our CI/ CD infrastructure and provide training and support.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies and make recommendations for improvements.

Your profile
  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field

  • At least 3 years of experience in software development

  • Experience in system engineering or a related field

  • Experience as DevOps / SRE engineer

  • Knowledge of Linux and distributed systems

  • Experience maintaining hardware and operating systems, particularly Linux

  • Experience with virtualisation/containerisation technologies like KVM, Docker/Podman or LXC

  • Knowledge of automated software testing, continuous integration, and release management

  • Hands-on experience with common DevOps toolchains, such as Jenkins, git, ansible, REST APIs, and cloud technologies

  • Programming skills in languages: Python and C++ or Go

  • Ability to solve problems independently

  • Very good communication skills, a collaborative mindset and a can-do attitude

  • Upstanding work ethic and excellent organisational skills

  • English is mandatory, German is a plus
