Senior DevOps Engineer

We are a fast-growing AI startup revolutionizing the manufacturing industry. We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to work with the existing team and take ownership of large key topics. This spans from hands-on implementations to being the go-to person providing insights and advice. Your skills and expertise will allow us to deliver secure and robust high-performance Manufacturing Analytics Systems, and you will play a key role in making and keeping EthonAI in line with industry best practices in cybersecurity and IT operations. What do you need to succeed in this role?

Your Roles & Responsibilities

• Scope, design and implement cloud and on-premises solutions for complex software and a large variety of data flows.
• Actively shape our prioritization, coordinate hands-on across engineering and customer success, and serve as expert and tech lead to build a top-notch DevOps team.
• Provide guidance and active work towards scaling our deployments to large and diverse amounts of data, and a continuously increasing number of customers.
• Connect the security constraints and needs between engineering, operations, our IT infrastructure, and customer IT.
• Take charge of the automations and infrastructure to effectively build and ship secure and reliable software.

Your Experience & Skills

• 4+ years of high-impact work in DevOps or a closely related role
• Hands-on experience with Orchestration platforms (Kubernetes and Docker), automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible, CI/CD Platforms; and at least two of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Rock solid experience with operating PostgreSQL: running, configuring, tuning, backup+restore, etc. Experience with TimescaleDB would be a big plus.
• Passionate to tackle ill-defined topics and drive them from ideation through implementation and operation.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced startup would be a big plus.
• Excellent communication in spoken and written English.
