Your Challenges

  • You advise our customers and understand their data needs. You design analytical infrastructures and implement big data projects with innovative technologies in a team
  • You prepare structured and unstructured data sets with different data types and formats for analytical purposes
  • Designing and setting up tools for data processing
  • Automate data pipelines for the consolidation, cleansing and provision of data. You contribute to topics relating to data governance, access management and security

What you bring with you

  • 2-6 years of project experience in software or data engineering with know-how in big data technologies
  • Very good handling of data, storage technologies and transformation tools (e.g. Datalake, S3 compatible storage, RDBMS, noSQL databases, Kafka, etc…)
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one Big Data technology such as Databricks/Spark, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure Synapse, Google Dataproc, Google BigQuery, AWS Lake Formation, AWS Redshift, etc.
  • Know-how in storage technologies is an advantage, e.g. Datalake, S3 compatible storage, RDBMS, noSQL databases, Kafka, etc. Optional knowledge of BI technologies such as Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, MicroStrategy, or similar.
  • Completed studies (computer science, business informatics, mathematics, electrical engineering, physics or similar). Passion to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and technologies. Very good analytical, methodological and conceptual skills
  • Team player and good communication skills. Professional appearance and fluent German and English
