Job Description

As a Corporate Data Analyst within the Internal Audit function, you will play a critical role in enhancing audit processes through data analytics.

Your Role

Your work will involve providing standardized and ad-hoc analytics to support internal audit colleagues in their assignments and being directly involved in the execution of the audits from time to time. You will continuously develop new data analysis, reports and dashboards while experimenting with innovative tools to deliver valuable insights from the company's extensive data, ultimately supporting the audit function and the organization in making informed decisions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Continuously execute and improve data analytics reports and dashboards.
  • Support and conduct audits by aiding in planning, preparation, execution, and the visualization of audit results.
  • Develop new data analytics tools, reports, and dashboards to enhance audit effectiveness.
  • Implement innovative tools and technologies that add value to the organization.
  • Participate in 3-4 internal audit engagements annually to gain a deeper understanding of the company's operations and the impact of your analytics work.
  • Maintain a strong focus on accuracy, ensuring that all information is clear, correct, and easily understandable.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field or holding a similar internationally recognized certification in data analytics.
  • Experienced as an internal auditor, and preferably certified as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
  • At least 2 years of working experience in Data Analytics; in an Internal Audit function is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, internal audit, risk management, and internal controls.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and a strong affinity for working with numbers.
  • Ability to clearly document and explain technical details both in writing and verbally.
  • Proficient in analytics and data science tools and technologies such as Python, Alteryx, KNIME, Tableau, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Process Mining. Experience in the logistics industry is a plus.
  • Self-starter who can adapt to a dynamic, changing environment.
