As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will start with an exciting project. Together with the team, you will bring our DWH into the cloud. You will design, implement and optimize our data processing processes and support the implementation of data & machine learning projects. From this lead function, we expect the willingness to take on responsibility and actively support the team.

  • Design, development and implementation of scalable data pipelines that extract, transform and load data from various sources into our data platform
  • Optimizing data processing processes to ensure high performance and scalability, including optimizing database queries and load balancing
  • Ensuring data quality and integrity through data monitoring, validation and cleansing as well as implementing data security measures
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and other teams to understand data infrastructure and processing requirements and provide technical solutions and operationalize machine learning projects
  • Mentoring and coaching of junior data engineers to promote technical knowledge and develop the team, as well as support with organizational issues

Why you can do this:

  • You have a degree in computer science, data processing or a related field and at least 5 years of project experience as a data/software engineer
  • You are an expert in the development and optimization of ETL processes and data pipelines as well as current big data technologies such as BigQuery and cloud platforms
  • Your knowledge of Machine Learning and Kafka is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams complete your profile
  • Experience in leading technical projects and mentoring junior team members is also a plus
