MISSIONS As part of the "SQA & Validation" team, the "Hardware Verification & Validation Engineer" will focus on testing and reporting of the hardware devices including multi discipline aspect as electrical, mechanical, optical and software. The hardware validation engineer will: Design, execute and reports test cases to evaluate the adherence to requirements, specification, reliability, robustness of the devices developed. Develop and maintain a set of test benches and automated tests to achieve validation and debugging goals. Collaborate closely with Hardware & Mechanical team members as well as Software engineers to maintain and/or improve product quality. REQUIREMENTS Master science in Electrical or Computer Sciences or similar education level. Experience producing written technical test reports. Familiarity with test software and software test tools. Experience analyzing electrical schematics to develop test plans, improve test coverage and root cause issues. Experience with environmental testing such as HALT/HASS, thermal, vibration, shock, humidity, climatic, etc.. Experience with basic electronics equipment - oscilloscope, multimeter, etc… Experience testing products to meet internal, IEC, ETSI, EU and international standards. Experience automating software tests and visualizing test results. Experience with programming and scripting languages - Python preferred. Familiarity with bug reporting test related failures and issues (Strong organization skills supporting - tools and equipment; data collection; reporting etc…) Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to work in a highly cross-functional role. Good Written Spoken capabilities in English and French is required. Experienced with drone related industries. Ability to work independently and in interaction with others. Good team spirit.
